The Anambra State Government, in partnership with health organizations, is launching a crucial Polio Immunization Campaign from May 3rd to May 6th, 2025.
WHO SHOULD GET VACCINATED?
All children from 0 to 59 months (under 5 years old) must receive the Novel Oral Polio Vaccine (NOPV2) to stay protected.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Polio is a dangerous disease that can cause lifelong paralysis or even death. Vaccination is the only way to keep children safe and stop the spread.
WHERE CAN CHILDREN GET VACCINATED?
Health teams will be available at:
Health centers
Schools, markets, and motor parks
Churches and mosques
House-to-house visits in communities
